Yes, I know what you mean Sid. I am more of a
spiritual type person. When I was a kid, I could
walk around the 420 acre family farm. I would
often sense something beautiful or deep emotion/connection at certain areas...
What I found out growing up and then well, into
my 40's--My great-great grandfather had bought
the place, was married 50 years, raised a bunch
of kids in the old house, probably died there,
built or had built the buildings, etc. Then
eventually my grandmother lived there 56 years,
my dad's been there 76 years, my brother close
to 50, (if you can count his teenage years--I
thought he was never home, ha, ha!)
So, the last time I had walked the place, it
hit me, omg! I see all the things he/they saw
and am probably feeling the same emotions. Aw,
the beauty and serenity of the place!
I see it as a spiritual place where others have
gone before me, and like you can feel some sort
of presence.
