First time for me was when I was about 6. My (Canadian and part Sioux Indian) grandpa had passed away and mom took me on the flight down to the funeral. We went in a Fokker-Friendship, twin props and I vaguely remember it being one of the bumpiest rides I've ever had in a plane.
