Hope all is well with you. If you're of a mind give a holler! No matter what you have a great weekend. As for me yesterday cut tomatoes and got ready to can juice. 21 lbs. of tomatoes for 7 quarts. Wow. It has been years since I did this last. But it's fun to rediscover the whole process. So went out to the garden picked more tomatoes and brought in the ones I picked yesterday. More still to get tomorrow. Cleaned up around plants. Going to take everything from plants away from the garden because of the problem with leaf wilt. Don't want it back next year. Then went to a local farm and got organically grown potatoes. Nice to see them doing well. They have a subscription business. Still no luck on replacing the van. We had rain here last night and showers during the day. So cooler temp's today and not so darned humid! Raining off and on tonight. But not so much as to create problems with the plants. Then went to work on an area in my yard that hadn't been pruned, vines yanked, and base of plants cleaned up. Half done now and finally looking cared for. Too wet to do more weed wacking. My Foxglove planted in the spring has 3 new beautiful flowers. Yay. Hope it comes back next year and brings friends. Enjoying the cool weather today. I've been cutting pounds and pounds of tomatoes for juice and sauce. So far have cut up Green peppers, more to come, and freezing them along with Brussel Sprouts, Broccoli, and Corn. Yahoo! Have to can juice tomorrow, and make tomato something else. Have to figure out how many more pounds are there. And then of course get we to eat them on a daily basis. Use them for cooking some things. And just enjoy seeing them. Depending on weather we might go to the Farmer's market and see what they've got. It's about 20 min's from here. Well thought I'd touch base with you. Take care.
