Hope next year is better. It is so disappointing to put all that time and effort in and have the weather make it impossible to have enjoyable results.

With the early rains it was questionable where we would have ended up. But we were lucky the weather let up soon enough for the plants to be okay.

Leaf wilt is hard to deal with. And I was afraid the tomatoes wouldn't have enough leaves left to support the plants. But plants are amazing. They put out more stems and kept on going.

I love working in the outside whether with flower or veggie gardening. Have learned a lot and know what will and won't be done next year.

Yesterday was just a good day. And getting those tomatoes taken care of made the work worthwhile.
