Hope all is well at your place and the weekend will be enjoyable.

Looked outside when I let the kittens out a few minutes ago. Noticed that on opposite side of the stream the grasses were laying down. Yesterdays rains brought on rising waters and fast water movement. The rains both here and north in Lancaster combine and my little stream turns into a river.

It was a close call. Looked at my side of the stream. Along the lower edge my grass was down too!

Think parking up next the road was a good idea. Flash floods can be 1-2' but water even at that level can do a lot of damage.

Didn't get that much this time. It just walked the edge of the bank. In the past I've watched large trees float down during storms. Water is unbelievably powerful.

By the time the next storm comes this will have been absorbed. Keep the area, about 200' of tall grasses in place. So it takes a lot more water to have a lasting impact.

Wow!

Be well.
