The hot springs resort is called David Walley's Hot Springs. There is another one a little further South near Markleeville called Grover Hot Springs that is a Cal State Park and less commercial.
My inlaws live 2 miles from Genoa. It is a beautiful place. The Mormons had the first settlement in the State there, and it was originally called Mormon Station.
