Battery terminal problem

Terminals keep building up corrosion and the engine refuses to start after a few weeks. If I clean the terminals and reconnect, it starts and charges just fine. I've tried the battery terminal grease, etc, but it keeps happening. The battery is 5 years old, but holds a charge just fine. When it doesn't start, cleaning the terminals and reconnecting cures the problem.

Any clue?
