Finally getting back to canning tomatoes - juice and sauce.

BTW the Ball freezer book rec'd using a saline solution to get rid of bugs before par boiling veggie's. It works.

Today trying it on tomatoes. Bring them in, wash, put in saline solution - get rid of whatever - then do what you can at the time. Hope it works!
