We left the lumber "stripped" and in the barn for almost a year. When we put the frame and siding up we had to drill every nail hole. Used a corded drill with a generator, (since I didn't own a cordless at that time). Use glavanized, screw shank nails, I think 8d.
Did a lot of bolting and lag screws. I dont think a F4 tornado could take it down.
Most all of the doors, windows, and furnishing are hand me downs, or free. I did buy a new cook stove. The shingles were new, but from an outlet place.
