Showering Hummingbird!

Hi all, I have to share a unique event with you. Hope all of you are doing well and have a good weekend.

This morning I was out washing things off outside with the hose. Water was sorta' like a medium rain size. And a hummingbird approached on the outside edge of the falling water. So I moved the water flow in its direction and it would dip in and back off. Then it dipped in again and flew up to a close by tree limb. It sat there preening itself for a few minutes. Was probably about 6-7' away from where I was standing.

So I aimed the water in the same direction I had before and it flew back down into the spray. Then went back up on another higher tree limb and preened again.

What a delight! I've never seen many Hummingbirds around my place - let alone have one come that close and take a shower.

Take care.
