I am not sure if your reply was being sarcastic or honest. I supported the invasion of Iraq from the beginning but not because I believed in WMDs. Our intel was faulty and so were our motives. I believe in getting rid of a tyrant but that is not always the best thing. What we have left is a mess worse than before for the region. We should have remained focused on Bin Laden and found him. Iraq would have waited. Saddam H was not going anywhere, Bin Laden did. Timing is everything. We should have finished the hunt for Bin Laden, caught, prosecuted and punished him. Then we would have been in a better position to look objectively at Iraq. We bungled Iraq plain and simple. Needed better intel, better planning and a better reason.
