He looked like a Jew but I think he was a pretty big guy for his time and tough enough to drive out the money changer single handed. I don't think he was Smason but I believe he was pretty tough and an above averaged sized guy. I'm one who believes the Shroud of Turin is real and if so he was around 5' 11" which would have been big for his day.
