I was make OK money in construction awhile back.Moved to a out of town place and had good fenced-in land I could have planted.I was going to rent a giant tiller with 671 Detroit diesel called a Rex Mixer.( We had to build streets with)I tlked to a guy who lived in the country place about makeing a four acre garden with the mixer because it would be easy that way. Just take a Farmall Cub with cultivator and make rows then put seeds. This way get free fresh vegetables and a profit by selling the part you dont need.He told me that Farmers Market in Houston sells it cheaper than you can grow it yourself. So I didnt do that. But I have always wondered how that can be a fact? Does anyone agree with the old guy or what?
