Don't plan on any apple seed you plant looking like the parent. There's virtually no chance that will happen unless you have a controlled pollenation and even then the offspring may be different.
Onliest way to be sure to get the kind of apple you want is to graft. All the apple trees I have here except one are ones I grafted onto wild trees that came up in the field.
