Sarah - a GOOD update on Cindy!!

Cindy's awake, off the ventilator, TALKING, drinking apple juice and eating ice chips!!!! Isn't that great?!?!?!!! I can't wait to get back to the hospital. They closed her leg today also, so maybe they can work on her hip soon.
Jack is about the same, as far as being alert goes, but his injuries are healing up pretty good. I don't know when they're going to do something with his leg, but maybe soon. His infection seems to be better. They did a trach on him to get the tubes out of his throat so he can be more comfortable also. Hopefully, it is just going to take more time for him to come around. I've heard that there was nothing on the brain catscans, then that there was, and then again, that they were all negative, so it's hard to tell for sure. I know he was conscious and talking to the doctors and family when he was first at the hospital. So, maybe it's something that will get better with time, like bruising or swelling. Thanks to you all!
