In my experience, 13 seems to be the worst year for girls...14 is almost as bad and by 15 they are starting to be humans again. I raised 3 girls and all 3 had a tough time during those early teen years. It got better, we made it through it and I am very close to all my children now. But I think that boys are easier to deal with than girls during those years. I could almost read the 2 boy's minds, but haven't a clue what the girls were thinking.

My youngest, a daughter, will always be my baby.....no matter how old she gets, and she will be 21 in a couple of months. She is off to college in Seattle, but we talk almost every day and she actually values my opinions. I could not be prouder of her.

This too, will pass. Good luck with your daughter. LOVE HER!
