I just moved to southern Colorado in the mountains. It's beautiful but we are surrounded by thousands of acres of BLM and it is now hunting season and I'm scared to death. I have two black Newfoundlands who look like bears. The bus stop is 5 miles from here and we watch "hunters" driving up and down in pickups trying to shoot deer from the road. They tailgate us and yesterday one almost lost his car over the bridge trying to pass me in the fog. I am constantly amazed at the dumb things people do. The only reason we don't have poachers on our property I'm guessing, is because they had a controlled burn on the BLM next to us and left a huge, smoldering mess. I'm wondering if we should move back to town. At least the police patrol town.
