This is a Russell wood furnace .I just got this one this year. and have been pretty much heating the house with it ( Hot air ) The gas one just comes on from 1 am to 6 am by then I have this one fired back up and it takes over . I came out of the bottom element hole and into the furnace
with the black pipe then into the the top element hole . I hole sawed two 1 1/16 inch holes in the front. the 3/4 inch pipe just slipped in there ,no gap at all , used two 18inch chunks of pipe and tied them to gether with a three inch . That picture shows the pipe in the fire box . Saving money on gas now on electricy for hot water . Now I can stand in the shower with hot water running for as long as I want and all it cost is the pump starting once or twice . Life is good .
How ya feeling .
Al
