...and about Walmart

Not only do the training videos SAY that Walmart buys American (and they don't) but they hire non-english speaking employees. About a third of overnight stockers where I worked have only a very limited use of english. You have no idea if what you're saying to them is understood, and I sat right there and watched one employee translate another's duties for them becuase they didn't understand what they were expected to do.

But once again. The jobs are there and if you don't think Walmart would rather hire and American, you're wrong, They take what they can get. I am American and english speaking and I got the same rate as everybody else. I had a better chance at advancement, because I have a better education and verbal skills, but the point is, Americans are not knocking down the doors to get hired on at Walmart. Including me.
