I disagree. Respectfully. You're going to find crap merchandise at any store, but as a general rule I think Walmart's merchandise is of a higher caliber than any other store with similar prices.

I wouldn't buy something like a riding mower from them. They sell them cheaper than many other places, but you get what you pay for. It might be good for a small yard but to use a riding mower for large rough areas like they were intended, no way. You have to take a certain amount of 'buyer intelligence' with you anywhere you go, but I think the majority of their stuff is just fine. Electronics, housewares, and so on.
