Just before I retired from LPD they shot a film, Insider, here in Louisville. They did a lot of the work at night downtown. They had to keep their rigs parked in certain spots and had to shoot the street scenes in the allotted time so the streets were never blocked to long. They had a car fire scene shot on I-64 that was interesting to watch. The "trick" car was a prop fitted with gas burners that they fired up at will. The only problem was with two gentlemen who threw a tv out of the 14th floor of the Seelbach Hotel. We contacted the producer and he told them to go to the airport, they were done and going back to L.A., fired on the spot.
