Yes that is very true is cheaper to buy it in the freindly neighborhood piggly wiggly. That goes for beef, poultry, as well as pork. Now on the other hand if you raise your own you will know where it came from as well as what has been fed. With all the factory farming giong on nowdays. I am a little afraid of the grocery store. Just because it has a good housekeeping stamp of approval, don't make it good.
